These last couple of posts have reminded me so some stuff of posting here. Some of my images appear a bit darker (maybe 1/2 a stop) posted here than on my monitor (yes, it is calibrated). In the case of this image, the granularity is much more severe than my original, full sized images. When I downsized for the web, it appears the "graininess" doesn't resize correspondingly, so what is subtle on a 5000 pixel image is more pronounced on a 1000 pixel image. Guess that is why I am posting, to learn new things.
