Sam. I prefer dogs over people anyway. They give you unconditional love & never stab you in the back. They are very protective of their masters & they love children. My grandson & my son's dog have a ball together playing. It's so much fun to watch them chase after each other.

That reminds me of a recent bumper sticker I've seen. A paw print with the inscription " Who rescued who?"

I have a rescue as well and I have learned that he needs me and I need him. He was originally found by the side of the road after being hit by a car. No collar, no chip, he was turned over to the Human society who turned him over to the Border Collie rescue people. He had a severely anjured hind leg, they did some extensive surgery on him. I got him a year and a half ago when he was mostly recovered and we have been pals ever since. He was afraid of everything (who wouldn't be) and he dosn't like other dogs at all, but we are working on that. I am thankful to have him and I think he knows he's got it pretty good now.
