This tournament is held annually at our Club and I volunteered to shoot the tournament. There are 3 groupings - Seniors - fathers older than 60
Super seniors - fathers older than 70.
Ultra seniors - fathers older than 80
Shook off a lot of rust remembering how to shoot fast action sports. Been a while, but I found it sort of like riding a bike. 5 day tournament with teams from all over the US necessitated a daily helping of ibuprofen on my part.
It is unbelievable watching the Ultras play. They may not be able to get to every ball, but if they do, they sure do remember what to do with it.
First is the eventual winner from over 60's (youngest group). The next are all from the ultras (over 80's) Last guy was too cool to not shoot a portrait of. Fortunate for good lighting in this last one. I told him that if he gained 200 lbs, I could probably get him a good gig in about 3 weeks time.

Nice shots; great job of capturing action and facial expressions.
