D700 or D610?

As aforementioned, it is not an issue but a weakness compared to the camera you already have and the the kind of shooting you intend to use it for.

Here is a side by side comparison of their focus to shoot speed. As you can see, the D7200 is almost twice faster than the D610. And as also mentioned previously, if your good at manual focusing there would be no difference between the two.

As marked by the yellow circle, it is worst when using all the focus points, which usually is the best option for something you expect to be moving unpredictably all over the scene.

If your real world shooting habits and conditions replicate the testing, and you use the same lenses, then you will surely suffer the effect as recorded in the tests. Otherwise, real world wise, fuggem if they cant take a joke.

No hey problemo !! I was sure that what Id written was too extreme to be taken at face value. Next time I guess I will hafta push the limits of cred waaaaay past that example. And acoarst, there WILL be more next times :-)
