We got Disney+ a couple of months ago, and for $7.99/month, I've let it ride. It goes up to $10.99 next month. With increases by Tivo, Spectrum. and Netflix, Disney+ will be hitting the road. The Disney Corporation is worth over $167 billion.

Not so much an issue with how much the company is worth as much as what one believes the service is worth to them. I suppose one can divide the $11 by the number of shows watched to get a price per show value.
If food prices double, will you stop eating in protest?
Or eat half as much.
(Everything goes up in price, eventually.)

We just added Brit Box to our lineup. We (really) like what is available on Brit Box.

Considering what it offers, Disney+ isn't worth $11 a month to me. $132 a year? No, I don't think so. They don't need my $3.00 to stay in business, and I don't need them at all. If they have something special, I can pay for one month.

Yup, it's all relative to the <perceived> value one puts on it, just like everything else.

If food price double I will drop all TV subscriptions so I can eat. But then Jerry still have his 4 turkeys.

We dropped Netflx DVD (it had more stuff we liked than Netflix streaming does) for Brit Box.
Brit Box has LOTS of stuff we like.
We also have Disney + for the same reason. Lots of stuff.

Disney has something I want to watch every few months, but it's mostly for kids. One part I watch almost completely is their Nat Geo section.

They just sacked the CEO, and Bob Iger is coming back. Disney needs to find its way again.

Jerry, I pay 14.95 a month for a bundle Hulu, Disney+, ESPN+ -- maybe a better value?

My problem with streaming is that there are too many choices. I remember the days when the TV had seven channels.
