As others have noted, more info is needed.
The file size limit is 20MB, is your image file too big?
The minimum pixel width is 800pixels. If less than that wide, it won't store either, but will display as a thumbnail.

If the original image width is less than 800 pixels, then it DOES store the original. What you see IS the original.
If it's larger than 800 pixels wide, UHH creates a thumbnail for display, then gives you a link to download the original image, full size.

I assume this is about UHH uploads and not something else...
If the original is too big or too small, it won't be stored in a download form.
