Actually a Shelby Daytona Cobra, of which only six were ever made, exclusively for racing. Reproductions are now much more numerous than the originals! Nice photo!

If that’s a replica, it’s a very good one, right down to the correct bonnet (hood) fasteners and the correct decals. I’m guessing either it’s real or a Factory Five - what do you think?

Yes, a beautiful car. A quick Google search showed a Daytona Cobra owned by Carroll Shelby himself sold in 2021 for $1.5M. Shelby made some “continuation” Daytonas that sold for $350K without drivetrain. My guess is this is a Factory Five reproduction, or perhaps a Superformance reproduction.

Lots of used, low-mileage repros for sale in the $50-70K range. So for the price of a couple of Honda Civics, you could be tooling around town in this beauty.
