Let me start this by saying that this photo is a cell phone snap shot.[iPhone 12 in portrait mode to blur the background] If this were a photo that I was setting up I certainly would have removed the strap on my bag from the scene. You know how it is with animals, you have to grab the shot cause they won't stay in that position for long.

Meet Lia. She is a 1 1/2 year old Siamese mix I adopted from the local pound in April and she is a hellion. When I first brought her home I could hardly touch her and I've received many bites and scratches working with her these past months. She has greatly improved and, though, I still receive the occasional bite or scratch she likes being cuddled and held.

One of my other cats, Willow, decided she wanted some attention and jumped in my lap. Lia jumped onto the camera bags that are located on a stand next to my desk, saw Willow and this is the result. If you look closely you can see that the look she is giving Willow is not "let's be buddies".

She has come a long way from not wanting to be any where near me to being jealous that "mom" is holding and petting one of the other cats. She is still a troublemaker but I love her anyway.

Thank you, NMGal! She is not my first "unfriendly" Siamese and I would love for her to become as sweet and loving as the Siamese I had for 18 years.

Over the years we have had several Siamese cats that would claw, scratch and bite. And that was when they were in a good mood!

Thank you, Mike!! This was just a quick cell phone shot to grab her in the moment but the iPhone 12 doesn't do a bad job. I'd rather use my DSLR's but that's hard to do when she's sitting on them.

Thank you, merrytexan!! I'm sure she would attack if she thought she could win but Willow is almost twice her size.
