A friend and member of my photography club is married to the director of dance at Kennesaw State U in Marietta, GA. We were given an opportunity to shoot the dress rehearsal of her current company’s performance last week. I made 1200+ hand held exposures but processed only 6%…that’s less than 6%. At least I like the ones I developed. Here’s a few of my keepers…hope you enjoy.

Why 1,200 shots?

Definitely different than our usual fare. Dance has certainly changed since my day (LOL). Great captures.

Snappy, what a rare opportunity... rather than ask why1200, I would ask why only 1200. What we see of the story like is a fantastic Ballet Drama. This had best be filmed by the professionals at the college film department. It is a forever Ballet to be shared with the ages.
