They finally launched Airtimes 1 this morning at close to 2:00 AM. I shot it like I do most night launches but it is seriously over exposed. I have toned it down some. Maybe there is haze or maybe fog on my lens. It was the brightest plume I have ever seen. Quite a sight.

Great shot. About how long was the exposure and what was the ISO, if you don't mind?

The exposure was 143 seconds, ISO 100, f/8. I used a variable neutral density filter with a medium setting but I don't know what. That's what happens when I buy a cheap filter. The street lights were unusually dim so I think I got about the right exposure. It was an extremely bright rocket.
Thanks for asking!
