Just sending along one shot - Will provide a bunch more in a day or so -- The place was knee-deep in tourists which of course included my spouse & me -- Did my best to escape -- Was "attempting" to take non-traditional shots of the place -- One of my first attempts -- Though I would share

Been there, done that - in 1983, the old slide photo time. My mother, in her 80s, traveled there and rode a camel!

It must come as a shock when you turn in any direction and see ten million people everywhere
A great shot 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆
Goodness thanks for looking & commenting --
Will of course process, reduce & pass on additional Giza Pyramid snaps --
At this point all of us had our fill of Pyramids be they Step, Bent, Red, or even Great.
The following day a plane ride to Luxor - lower Egypt - to visit the old Capital of Thebes and the Temples of Karnak.
Very nice. Is that row of tents vendors selling wares?
Beautiful shot. Well done!

Yes, indeed vendors selling wares --
Vendors in all shapes & sizes selling you lots of "stuff" all for no more than a dollar or two. "Stuff" you are not going to want when you get home nor know who to give it away to plus all those memorable Camel rides!
PS: We all probably know (or should know) Camels did not exist in all of Egypt at the time the Pyramids were built.

Hope you're super lucky ---
Be prepared to experience hopefully something less than extreme lower intestinal track issues sometime during your visit -- We were lucky & experienced ours toward the very end of our stay.
PS: Did you say JUNE?? -- Rethink & check the Egyptian Temps at that time -- Gonna be a tad toasty warm!!!

I spend my birthday in 2016 in Israel. At the Dead Sea, it was 104 on the particular day we were there, which was probably the hottest it ever got. I saw Luxor high was 107. but up north closer to the ocean, it's in the 80s. The websites probably just report the worst-case scenarios. As a skinny person, I'm better with warm temps than cold. With my job as a school bus monitor, I really can't go any other time anyways than summer.
