I recently purchased a Nikkor 40mm F2 lens. I thought I would try it out in low light. A pretty inexpensive lens. But I think I just may keep it.

I think the lens is going to work just fine for you. I like scenes like this one. There is color and interest in the sky; but you have something going on on the ground as well. Cool.

I do intend to keep it. I’m not used to using an f2 lens. It certainly is a nice change.
