Someone gave us one - weighed about 15lbs. After trying it, I just passed it along to Goodwill.

I bought one a year ago. I love it. It finally got cold enough last night to enjoy putting it back on the bed.

Yeah, sorry about that. There was no scandal. The thought of weighted blankets being used on nursing home residents to keep them from wandering around struck me as funny. My humor doesn't always translate well.
