I always enjoy viewing & appreciating your work, possibly the most, because it is so much more complicated then just aperature, shutter, compose, snap.
As always with Thomas.....WOW!
Thank you for taking the time to review and comment toxdoc42.
Your kind words are greatly appreciated...
Stardust I truly appreciate your thoughtful comments on Melanie's efforts here...
They mean a lot to me... This was a team effort and Melanie was totally a joy to collaborate with.
Believe she realized the aggregate synergy of the session and went above and beyond to make this happen.
btw I've learned so much as the makeup artist on many other talented photographer's sessions.
Thus I encourage everyone to work as a lighting assistant (or similar) while the recompense may not be high the knowledge gained can be (and often is) absolutely stellar.
Again many thanks Stardust...
All the best on your photographic journey.
dat2ra you're way too kind... And thank you so much for your continued support, it is truly appreciated!
All the best on your photographic journey dat2ra...
Thank you so much for your very kind words BurghByrd!
They are truly appreciated...
And my compliments on your outstanding "Morning Visitors" recent post.
The acuity in the downloads is amazing as are the color harmonies latent within...
All the best on your photographic journey BurghByrd
I love the shot, as I do virtually all your work. Perhaps this will clear up some of the confusion (sorry about the quality, I was standing on a rocking chair trying to block the overhead light with my body),
[quote=Thomas902]John we used centripetal acceleration i.e. AC has a magnitude equal to the square of the body's speed V along the curve divided by the distance R from the center of the circle to the moving body; that is, ac = v2/r.
Where AC = centripetal acceleration; V = Velocity and R = Radius
Thomas, it's a nice shot, and really fairly simple to do if your model is a bit patient with your effort. I (and countless others) have done the same shot. I have a posted shot (Nude no. 086) that shows that even I could do it, but why befuddle everyone with the mathematic mumbo-jumbo of it. No one understands all of the stuff. Simpler and better to just say she flipped her head back until I caught the right look. The math sounds like you're talking down to everyone. Unless you were joking, then it's sort of funny.
Thank you Al and Wirtz for taking the time to review and comment on Melanie's image it is appreciated...
Wishing you both much success on your photographic journeys.

No problem as goes for me. I’m happy to join the fray.
So Thomas, is your profile photo really you. If so, you look extremely angry at having your photo made. Just an observation.
