I took a road trip with my brother-in-law last weekend to see Notre Dame play Clemson. My brother-in-law was the first four year walk on (basketball) in Notre dame history. he played on the only Final Four team at ND in 1978. He game me a great guided tour. The photos include The Golden Dome with the Dome's inside ceiling - painted by Vatican artist, Luigi Gregorio in 1876. The Log Chapel was the first chapel at ND, built in 1831. It was destroyed by fire in 1856 and rebuilt in 1906. Final photo is the town of Shipshewana - where we stayed for the weekend.
