You may have served in combat, or non-combat. You may have retired, or served for a short time. You may have been a draftee, or you may have volunteered. You may have served in the Corps, the Army, the Air Force, the Navy, or the Merchant Marine. But you served. You did your job honorably. And for that, I am proud to call you "Brother". You may have served in WW II, Korea, Vietnam, the Persian Gulf, Iraq, or Afghanistan, or some other foreign place. But you served. You have a DD214, with the words "Honorably Discharged". Two of the most noble words in the world. And I am proud of each and every one of you. I was not a hero, but I am proud and happy to have served among them. Today is "Band of Brothers Day". To each of those who touched my life, here's to you.
Happy Brothers Day.
Back to you Brother.
