I have a Nikon D7100 and a stable of DX and FX lenses, along with 3 SB800 flash units (don't ask!)
I'm looking for a full frame camera to compliment my D7100 and have been considering a D750. My budget is about $700 which should work for a used D750 body in good condition.
I'm wondering if anyone has any other suggestions to consider. The budget is fairly firm, so that rules out the D850.
Your thoughts are appreciated.
D750 is a marvelous camera! A no-brainer for your budget.

Thanks - appreciate your thoughts.
I love my 750. I also have a Z6, and use them equally.

D750 is good. The D700 is also considered a timeless camera. Only 12.2mp but unless you’re printing billboards you don’t need more. It will cost you less tha a D750. I got mine for $300.
I wish I still had my D750. I have a D850 and I still miss my D750 at times.
The D750 is a great choice. If you can swing it, though, I'd get a D810. The shutter is super quiet, and it has some advantages over the D750, mostly the pixel density 36mp v. 24mp, frame rate, etc.
I owned a D750, but traded it for a D850, keeping my D810 as a "back-up" camera. However, it gets as much usage as my D850.
The 750 offers much better high iso performance than your 7100 but shares the general button and menu philosophy and accessories you already have. Unless you need higher resolutions you will be fine staying out of the 800 series.

From a D7000 I went to the D750. I wanted the D810 but a financial situation arose so I "settled" for the D750 but that turned out to be a great decision. I love it!! Later, I purchased the D810 and I love it too. The D750 gets as much use as the D810. Both are great cameras.
I think you will be very happy with the D750!

What FX (full-frame) lenses do you have? If you don't have full-frame lenses, shopping on a budget and looking at full-frame cameras are just a waste of time and money. The camera will shoot in DX mode with DX lenses, giving you images with less than half the pixel resolution, probably less than your 24MP D7100. The DX mode on a 24MP full-frame D750 yields 10MP images at the largest setting, something what would seem like a $700 waste of time and money, a waste until you buy still more larger, heavier, and more expensive FX lenses to use with an FX body.

12MP is more than double what it takes for billboards. Dont worry about MP !!!
The D700 will save you mucho sheckels. Also the D610 goes cheap lately. But if you really prefer its more up to current features, a D750 is a true bargain even with its higher cost.
Overall, a D610 could be the Goldilocks choice, being a rather recent model but not the very latest.
Been shooting film since the 70s My lenses include 28 mm. 50 mm, 55 mm macro 90 mm macro, 100mm 70-300 mm, and 600 mm so I think I'm covered.
I took a look at KEH because that's where I've bought all my equipment from. They have a d750 for about 800 if you can have a line on a 750 for 700 I would be very suspicious.

All good suggestions. In addition to my D700 and my D3 I had a D750 which I gave up on a trade-in. I have regretted it ever since.
