I think these photos show how good an older woman can look if she takes care of herself, she just turned 71, which I find hard to believe, but since I have known her for several years, I know it to be accurate and true.

when living in Argentina there was a discussion show host in her 80s and she took pride in scant clothing showing off her well proportioned firm retired ballerina body. Jon, your model is another example of a caring for self reward.

Wonderful images, I agree with all, she is a lovely, mature woman, seems to be a very relaxed and confident model.

I don't know if this is really a Testament of how well she took care of herself; it's probably just good genes. Of course, if a person doesn't have vises like smoking and drinking that will certainly help keep the skin stay younger looking. Eating right and exercising is a great help too. Skin care and hair care does wonders too. But mostly it's just as simple as good genes.
PS - she is a beautiful 71 year old woman. I can't argue that!

Was the second image intentionally created to use distortion from the angle and lens? It is intriguing in how it alters her appearance. The more i examine the image, the nicer the model looks. Did you do any full figure studies,?

Indeed, she is lovely. I don't know if it is my screen, but the first image looks to be out of focus, and there is a long, straight something lying across her far thigh that (to me) distracts from her curve. The second image looks stretched and out of proportion. Again, maybe my computer is not displaying these correctly as no one else has mentioned it.

I agree with the previous concern of the line in the first photo. Without the second photo to show us the necklace the "line" is definitely a distraction.
This is precisely the kind of thing that has to be scrutinized well during a shooting session. The photographer knows that she is wearing a necklace, and seeing it over her thigh in the first photo would be fully understood by the photographer... but not by a viewer.
