Just driving around visiting various sites including WMA and swamps shooting from my car...Goodwin Marsh, Tosohatchee WMA, Sebastian SP and even my backyard.
The spider web was actually between a tree and the ground cover out over the edge of a lake. Wind blowing at around 15 mph, the web and spider were enjoying the 4-ticket ride, until the one of the strands of the web broke and the spider scurried back up the tree, lost him then.
The Heron was deep in the swamp and even though it was bright out, the swamp was beautifully dark as usual, and I really liked the contrast between the bird and swamp.
The Walking Stick was on the screen of the porch last evening. I was careful not to disturb and was restricted to any different angle.
I guess many of the winter migrating birds have not reached Florida, at least central and south Florida yet, maybe another couple of weeks....Cheers everyone.

Very beautiful...Loved the low-key photo on 3rd one.
These are all really well done. That egret certainly can't hide there!
Excellent odds and ends. Kingfishers are elusive subjects.
