My photography needs stimulation. Can you recommend sites with visual interest in the Boca area?
I have been to the wetlands many times…all good but looking for other places.
Suggestions welcomed.

If you like wildlife about 45 minutes north is Wakodahatchee and Green Cay and Loxahatchee Federal Preserve. Look the information up on Google.

I am going to suggest places within an hour drive:
Butterfly World, Morikami, Clematis St, Downtown Delray, Mizner area, Hillsboro Lighthouse, Jupiter Lighthouse, PBC Zoo, Miami Zoo, South Beach, Lion Country Safari, Deering Estate (at sunrise), Bonnet House, Vizcaya, Little Havana, Wynwood, Las Olas and Miami Skyline from Rickenbacker causeway.
I probably forgot a bunch, too.

In addition to bkwaterk’s there’s Gumbo Limbo Nature Center in Boca; sea turtle rescue and butterflies, and take a nice cruise south on the Miss Delray in the park at Atlantic Avenue & the Intracoastal. There’s a northern cruise to Manalapan from there but I never went on it. Many restaurants on the Intracoastal offer great views and beautiful scenery.
Blowing Rocks Preserve in Jupiter,
Hillsborough Inlet LightHouse
Morikami Museum & Japanese Gardens in Boca
Sugar Sands & Quiet Waters Park in Boca Area
Schmidt Boca Raton Historical Museum & Henry Morrison Flagler Museum
That should get you stimulated
If interested in sports photography, try the Everett Tennis Academy — often run into Chrissie there. Lots of good action and some of the players may well want some of your shots.

I liked Butterfly World. Well worth a visit if you haven't been there.
Vero Beach area has Blue Cypress Lake with lots of nesting Osprey in the spring. Stick Marsh in Fellsmere off I 95 has lots of spoonbills in late March, and April.
