One of a cluster of sunflowers in the yard, backlit by the noon sun. And as a bonus, it had a bee on it.

Sunflowers were made for photographers and you captured it well. The backlighting speaks of the fine structure.

Thank you, that structure shown off by the backlight was what I was after, with the center and bee. If it wasn't for the breeze moving the flower, I would have tried for an HDR series.

Thanks very much. It pretty much looks the same right now, but thanks to the rain night before last and sun most of the day yesterday and this morning, there are now nine blooms and one more unopened bud. All growing in one large pot from seeds falling from a feeder hanging near it.
