I think Christian McCaffrey is getting a good grasp of the 49er offense.

Trading McCaffrey to the 49ers may not have been the smartest move for the Panthers since he was 1 of a very few good players on the team {{Yes, I live in NC and no, I'm not a Panthers fan except for the game where they beat the pants off Tom Brady}}. However, for McCaffrey it was probably the best thing to happen to him. Now he will not have to be the player carrying the team on 99% of the plays. I believe that highly contributed to all the injuries. With the 49ers there are other players that he will rotate with. With less pressure he will be able to concentrate on perfecting his game.
I am very happy for him and the 49ers. His addition to the team seems to have put new life into the players. They are looking "hungrier".
My favorite football "analyst" is Stephen A on ESPN and I've noticed that he and almost every analyst feels this was a great move for the 49ers and McCaffrey.
BTW---I was happy to see Garoppolo back in the QB position. Being moved to second string was a wakeup call for him.
It won't surprise me to see your 49ers get into the playoffs.

Thank you so much, Rob!!! My best to your wife. Thanks for the info about the rebroadcast; if I have time I will try to watch it. I do try to watch the "highlights" that the NFL posts on YouTube and I was impressed with a lot of the plays in that 49er's/Rams game. My favorite was in the 1st quarter where McCaffrey got to be a QB. Great play! He had some great catches, too. They look like a very different team and McCaffrey looks like a totally different player from his games for Carolina.
It is my intent to try to watch the 49er games when I can because of McCaffrey.
I just love pro football!!
