I traveled to Europe for the first time in June 1964. Left New York by ship. First stop was Lisbon, second was Tangiers. Here's a photo I took in Tangiers of a water seller. One of the first photos I took overseas.
One question...did the water "glass" get washed between customers? Great shot of something/someone very interesting.

ME...A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away.
Eyes and mouth are still the same, just glasses and a few white hairs added....and it seems just a short while ago?

My Dads Parents
I love Mom's dress! My grandmother had a similar looking "Sunday Dress". Dad looks spiffy!
The field of nursing has changed so much...so has the nurse's wardrobe. No caps anymore (I was glad as ours were very thin linen and wilted with the slightest of humidity). Scrubs or pants and tops - so much more practical for the many tasks we performed.
Freshman "capping" 1962
And we had to have capes - I will never know why as we never wore them (I'm left, top row, 2nd one in)
