Excellent shot of a great car - With this car is wasn't miles per gallon it was gallons per mile. THis one and the '73.

Probably had the 472 or 500. Actually they got better mileage than you'd think.

I once owned a 73 Coupe with the 472 and, driving very conservatively, could sometimes achieve 10 mpg (on high test, of course).

I had a 76 Coupe DeVille that looked very different from this and yes it had the 500 cu in engine (the last year they made it). I neighbor bought it for demolition derby use but didn't want the engine or trans so I still have those.
