Is anyone else experiencing issues with the very latest version of Bridge (ver 13.0.0.562)? I'm having intermittent crashes, and sometimes more than one thumbnail stays selected. Very frustrating. I'm on a Windows 10 computer with a fast i7 and 32 GB of memory. Fortunately I still have version 12 which is working fine.
I had problems when the prior version of adobe bridge came out. I wasn't able to set the slide duration on slide shows to manual. The tech guy said my graphics card wasn't good enough. Yet hours before I was able to do this on the older version (right before the software updated on my computer). The tech guy uninstalled newer version and reinstalled the older version and no problem with the slide show option. Personally I don't believe it has anything to do with my graphics card. I do no gaming and wouldn't think an advanced graphics card is need to set the duration of a slide on the bridge slide show. At the time it was a huge problem for me because I had to do a zoom presentation in a few days that really required i have manual control of the duration of my slides of bird photos. Really sweating it for a while.
I really have to thank you for this post. I went back and installed the later version with the bugs apparently fixed. This time I had no problem with the adobe bridge slide show set to a manual duration for each slide. So there was no problem with my card. It was a bug in the later version of bridge.
the new version of BRIDGE is buggy, and much slower than the previous version.
I am on MAC and do not have freezes or multiple selections that stay open as you describe, but definitely not as smooth as the previous BRIDGE.
I have since gone back to the previous version...
