A bird flu has killed 14% of this year's turkeys. Don't expect traditional sales - or maybe even a turkey.

We must be living in a simulation that's being run by sadists.

There's no turkey shortage in my area. The grocery stores appear to have plenty of them and the buy X amount of groceries and get a free turkey campaigns are all kicking off. I already bought one and it's currently happily frozen in my chest freezer.

The supermarkets all have turkeys, but they have them year-round. When every household wants at least one, how will the supply be then? I bought one today, just in case.

Of course. They have done such a good job!

"CEO pay has skyrocketed 1,322% since 1978. CEOs were paid 351 times as much as a typical worker in 2020." Yet they think $15/hr is too much to pay workers. They receive $5,265/hr, based on that $15/hr rate.

It's NOT inflation that is killing us.

How is that possible? All those supply chain issues driving up prices and causing so much inflation and all. 🤔 oh, I get it!

After a decades-long multi-billion dollar government study, scientists have arrived at the conclusion that the largest number of turkey deaths were the result of humans eating them.

Fortunately I don't like turkey and never have.
It will be ham or homemade lasagna for us on Thanksgiving.
