Both photos are well done but in this case I prefer the color. Typically I use black and white to make sure the focal point is not distracted from by the color. In this case I am drawn to the ivy below the shed roof and the water on the right in the spillway in the color version. They are not the focal points but do seem like important elements. Both of these get a little lost in the B&W. However, as I said, they are both well done.

It was gorgeous in the Spring. However, I thought the other aspect worked better for B & W.
