Thanks, Will. It's a very accessible area and the photo ops are wonderful. You should go.

Awesome scene's, Kathy...love the detail in the the sandstone and that you left the photographer in the last photo for scale!!

Thanks, Jederick. I rarely include people, but this guy was really concentrating on getting his shot, so I hated to disturb him and ask him to move.

Lovely work, Kathy.

I'm planning another trip to Vermillion Cliffs sometime in the future.

Thanks, Bob. It's such a beautiful area. We barely touched the surface. Getting to White Pocket is a hoot!

White Pocket is one of the most awesome photogenic spots in north AZ. Can’t wait to see what you got

Thanks. We did Marble Canyon first, which is a familiar place for me. But it's fun watching people see it for the first time.

Kathy, so nicely done. You've captured the Page area so well. This is one of our favorite locations and the photographic opportunities are boundless. I always remember Zane Grey's famous novel when someone refers to the Vermillion Cliffs.

Thanks, Norm. The Cliffs are sort of difficult to explore because there aren't any roads. Their face is quite extensive and has been done to death, but I still love it.

Thanks, Linda. When one goes on a photo tour, one can expect them to find good light. Actually, we had clouds the first two days, so I was glad when we got back to Arizona's normal "severe clear!"

LOL, haven't heard a forecast of "severe clear" before

Just got back from a week on a photo tour of White Pocket. (A pocket is a place where water collects.) It's located in the Vermilion Cliffs and is a wonderful exhibition of multi-coloured standstone. Along the way we visited several places around Page and Lake Powell, Marble Canyon, Navajo Bridge and Lee's Ferry. I'll break these up in small pieces, starting with the beehives. (We actually saw more beehives in another location). This was a sunset shot, so the light changed rapidly.

Beautiful images Kathy
