They're reflections of nearby trees.

My hunch they might be reflections of distant birch trees turned out to be true. Btw, you cropped the photo fairly extensively and it turned out very nice.

Actually, the geese came from another shot which was minimally cropped. The color image was only to show the reflections of the trees, but thanks for the nice comment.
