I believe it's 1965 Ford Fairlane 500 2dr hardtop (customized hood). 289?? In this day who knows, They came with 289. Probably beefed up!

Might be a Canadian version of the 65. The grill is different and I don't believe the 65 had the crease down its flanks.

Your captures are great, the exposures are perfect or darned close.
It looks like there's some kind of power dome on the hood. Original? After market? US 64 Fairlane could be had with a 427, called the Thunderbolt. I don't know but I suppose that means it could have a 390 too. Isn't it strange that there are more Thunderbolts around now than Ford made?
