Scott, you're getting out of control. You need to take some time off and come back when you've calmed down.

When you Liberals talk about the GOP stonewalling have you forgotten about Harry Reid. In the past he promised that no bill with GOP fingerprints on it would get past him and he's kept his word. Reid also said that if Romney was elected he would work with or talk to Romney. He said he just could not work with Romney, ever. I guess that this would not be stonewalling because he's a Democrat. Double standards are a hallmark of the Liberal philosophy.

There is no double standard both parties are equally guilty of a failure to meet in the middle. What needs to be put forth is a genuine effort from both sides. In the past four years the Republican Party acted to limit the effectiveness of government in correcting the economic downturn. Their thinking was to make the President look ineffective and thereby limit him to one term. This is a well-documented fact. As a result of this purely political policy the country's recovery has been slow. Now, is the time to move away from the both party's lines and come together.

You are very angry that your guy lost...that's something that you need to deal with. I have posted before that I don't know why you feel the way you do I can only guess.

I'm not angry. I actually expected it. The reason many of the economic bills failed in the House was because they were really spending bills that failed to reduce Federal spending. Many of the "shovel ready" jobs bills that Obama did get passed didn't generate that many jobs & cost the deficit dearly for the jobs they did produce.

As much as I wanted to see what Romney could do after, in my opinion, four years of unfulfilled promises and ineffective “leadership” by someone terribly unqualified to be president, I am now interested to see if he can do something worthwhile. Yes, he got his second term so, let’s stop blaming Bush for everything that has gone wrong since the Big Bang and start making this country great again. It is no longer acceptable for him to just set the wheels in motion so he can bring it to fruition in his “next term”. There is no next term. Barack, it is time to put up or shut up!

Scott...what standard would be acceptable for a shovel ready job to passed? You stated they were too costly for the number of jobs created. What is the standard that would be acceptable?

Economically speaking....what he inherited from Bush could still be brought up ten years from now and it would be fair. We don't like to hear it as it Americans because we want shit fixed yesterday.
