Loss of avatar

I have become quite frustrated with a relatively minor glitch in this site. I no longer have an avatar visible. I attemoted to replace it and get the message that it probably because I have an ad blocker on my computer. Try as I may, I cannot find any indication of such a thing. I contacted Admin and they worked some magic and I had an avatar back, for a couple days. Any ideas, suggestions or advice someone may provide? Please, serious answers only, I do not need, or want, sarcasm or cynicism for this. TIA

Apparently no one has any idea or suggestions for me. I'm still getting the response that I have an adblocker running on my browser but I cannot find it nd have changed some setting to allow ad, music, sound, even pop-ups to no avail. Admin has not provided any help except it is automatic and the system resets itself.
I know having an avatar is not a necessity or a big deal, I'd just like to have one. Anybody have even a small idea or suggestion? I am getting frustrated.
