The weather forecasters say that this weekend will bring in the cold weather that will put an end to the fall flowers. Accordingly, I am sharing this set of two of the neighbors' flowers (#1 & 2) and my wife's flowers before they are gone.

I went out this morning for lake pictures and will edit those later. Tomorrow I will probably not post because I am planning on a trip to Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge.

Comments and suggestions are welcome.

Of comfort to know they'll be back next year.

Lovely! Something to look at when winter is making life more grey!

Our one tree next to our fence has dropped 90% of its leaves (of course, in our backyard). The weather has taken off many of the leaves off the trees in our park nearby. We are "late" for our first snow (usually by October 3rd). We are definitely at the end of fall and at the start of winter.

Good shots by the way. I have been taking some my own too.

Really nice, Mike. Can you cut some of the yellow roses with buds and take them indoors?

Thanks for looking, Dennis, if the weather forecast is correct, I have seen the last of them after this weekend.

Thanks, Jack, and the snow brings skiing. When and where is the best birding in Arizona?
