Thank you Linda coming from you it is quote of pride. i have always been inventive, and an actor on the stage of life and that helped me survive 40y of industrial management in positions not trained for... Your compliment and one from my UHH lady friend in England who now is confident in taking a Nikon 1 10-30mm lens apart and fixing the focus gear... Well I can now go to my masochistic fitness class with pride
-----------------
Car-wash... I had an old Chev Pickup and they had a windshield overhang... the brush caught on that and caved in my windshield... there I was with glass and water spray and a flesh eating brush in front of me... I survived and got a new windshield. That is a wash never forgotten.
I went Back and Played with it some more. This time I made my own wall added brick, my own rain and brushed aluminum for window frame. Not sure if it's any better but something different.
You’re getting very enterprising with this composite game Linda, I can see you migrating to the full Ps any time now - something I’ve noted before, I think! The concept is excellent. I’m not keen on the camera, it’s not necessary and being black and central it takes over. Just you looking out would be fine. Jim’s background is spot-on for what you’re after. That leaves just one other minor niggle, why is the rain frothy?

Linda's camera is in the picture because it is a mirror shot of her. She took it herself.
Wonderful versatile prop, no limit to what the window frame theme can do. You have a spacious well designed Kitchen and beautiful blue eyes.

That doesn’t mean I have to like it Jim. It’s perfectly possible to take a selfie and not have the camera in shot, that would be my preference.
I would not expect to see what appears to be sudsy water on a home window. I need some explanation for why I'm not making sense of it.
I like the concept.
I didn't see Magnetoman's comment before posting.

OMG, have never heard of a carwash accident such as yours.
Re you history, very cool to know!

Thank you, Jim! I had suspected it might be easier to create the rain rather than use my photo, but your workflow looks mighty daunting. I great appreciate your ideas and your time in this project.

Why is the rain frothy? Oh dear, another consideration I didn't take into consideration
Obviously, I didn't think through the concept very well. But I still had fun with it.
You make a good point about the camera: I used that 2020 photo (done originally for Create 52 -
highly edited lol) because when I was browsing my pics for ideas for "interior," I thought of the commentary I posted in the opening paragraph. Rolling on the floor laughing about that concept interfered with my thinking
Re going to full PS, I suppose we should never say never. Maybe one of these upcoming dark winter days I'll wake up ready to tackle that adventure. Thank you so much for your continuing support and interest, Dave.

Jim's kitchen, "playful pp" eyes (my real color is more muted hazel) - but thank you again, Don!

My only explanation is I didn't think it through well enough
Here was my thought process:
1. Take photos through my windshield while inside the carwash (I've done this before) for this week's Create 52 theme, "View through a door or window."
2. Saw windows through the water and suds as I was pulled along, took a few shots.
3. First edits I tried adding an outdoor scene in the window, since that would be more the reality: from inside looking out.
4. Decided to try the reverse: make the image in the window be indoors and the carwash spray be rain outdoors.
Onward to the next faulty logic project, I guess
I appreciate your time, Gaylord!
