Actually it started as Corona High School built in 1922/1923.
In Jan 1961 the HS moved to a much bigger facility and since the city hall was getting too small the old HS became the city hall in 1962. Outgrown once again, the city hall moved to a new complex and the building became a Civic Center with some city/county offices in 2005 with the Police Department following to the new complex later. This building is a Civic Center and various other offices, including some NPOs.
This is early June 2013 when I was there to file some papers.
