Nude no. 270
Here we find another pose by Amanda. There are a lot of her photos on these pages; I just like them. This was shot in my studio on a Mamiya 645 Super on Plus-x developed in D-76 (a truly fine combination). Neg scanned and finished with PS6. My lighting consisted of a large softbox next to the camera and another light above and to the right in the picture shooting thropugh an umbrella. Another light was used to make a highlight in the cove behind her. This was used in the place of a hair light which was a choice I made frequently.
Very nice! Love the lighting too.
Simple and effective but must have taken a lot of work to set it up and achieve such a superb result. Well done!

Exceptional use of lighting! There is no harsh bright spots, and her hair is lit just perfectly.
Overall I would say excellent image of an extraordinary model.
Yes, "Exceptional use of lighting!" with the spot behind the subject giving a gray accenting of the hair, rather than a harsh hair swallowing black.
Too often overlooked are the hands and feet... both are well posed in this photo. She is admiring her hands; her feet are at-one with the stool.
She's beautiful and the lighting defines her form very well.
Beautiful soft lighting and beautiful model. Subtle but nice bkg. treatment.
