This is a mature leaf-footed bug. They drain plant juices through a long, sharp proboscis, which is slung under their thorax when not in use.

The guy at the farm told me what he was called, it started with a T..I wish I could remember what he said. It wasn't the normal run of the mill stink bug.

The "T" stands for Thingamabug quite rare in your part of the woods...note...if you step on it it goes ...woosh

I found out the name of this bug is "Thrip".

Yes, I agree, he looks big next to the box. Brings back memories of when I was little and I didn't always recognize a stink bug until it was to late. However, I was a fast learner! Nice photo
