Quicken rescue

After spending 5 hours on the phone yesterday with Quicken support and no result, I thought I'd ask my friends here for ideas. Q suddenly will not open (Win 10). Everything else on the computer is fine. I've tried everything (uninstalling/reinstalling, virus & firewall off and on, rebooting, you name it) and I'm curious if any of you have had the same issue....and, hopefully, a solution.

try turning the clock back a couple of weeks and see if that makes a difference

No help, just sympathy. I got so frustrated with Quicken that I switched to another product.

I've used Quicken since it was on floppy discs.
After the last up date I had to spend a lot of time with support to get it to work again.
Lately, I'm having issue with downloads.
Perhaps its time has passed, can any one recommend a substitute product?

I called Quicken for assistance with importing my bank statement which was not linked to automatic download and the agent fixed it and other linkage issues. Wouldn’t quit until he had it all running perfectly. I was impressed.

Following Poppie's suggestion somewhat, I reset the computer. Somewhat of a pain to get everything the way it was but Quicken responded by loading and opening. Wasted an entire day trying to make it work. And I would be interested in any other similar products that folks are using successfully.

Which one? Could you bring your Quicken data into it? Is there a charge?

Did you try downloading it and reinstalling? It's horrible when you do everything right, but the computer doesn't cooperate. Can you try it on another computer?
