Actually, I've been there twice - both times to Avalon. I don't recall seeing the casino on my first visit when I was about four years old but it could possibly have been there. What I do recall were the penguins and a ride on a glass bottom boat; the view was spectacular. The water was so clear you could see for perhaps 40 feet. And boats nearby were pulling marlin out of the water. Flying fish were jumping out of the water.
My second visit there I was in my mid to late fifties. The penguins were not there though the building still had a sign referring to them. I found no glass bottomed boat rides but I did take a ride on a "submarine" (that did not really submerge entirely). The water was dirty with visibility down under ten feet. On the water were other boats, but mostly speed-boats and surely no fish coming out of the water, either on their own or at the end of a line. Still, I enjoyed the visit there and this time got out on the island (mostly the property of the Wrigley family). It is still a fun place to visit.
