Nude no. 268
Back to Amoreena, as I always go. Fun with a mirror in the studio. This was a fairly difficult shot to get just right, the lighting was a bit tricky (light to the rear and right, light on the floor to rim light the mirror and a reflector to lighten up her foreground just a touch, and all of that not to appear in the mirror), especially with a somewhat impatient model. We finally got it done and I made it nicer in Photoshop. I hope it is well received by you viewers. It was a lot of work for both of us.
Good work on both of your parts. I can appreciate the amount of planning and skill that went into this.

Wonderful results under very trying circumstances. Do you remember how many shots you took before getting this magnificent image?

2. This was the second one. The only thing I don’t like about it is that damn line on the ceiling (an overhead light I think). Amoreena was already tired so I chose the path of least resistance and much like the Beatles, I let it be. One of these days, I’ll clone the fock out of it. But for now, that’s just the way it is in WirtzWorld.

I find the setup and effect interesting… but her facial expression looks like anguish.

I can really sympathize. We did this at Art Center College and it was a bear!!! And yes, it is very taxing on the model. But your results are astounding! I hope Amoreena has a print on a wall in her house, because this one is one of your best.

Thank you so much. She is not really interested in prints, or really any of these results. She has dvds of everything we did together, but she really modeled for me because, as she said once when I asked her why, and I quote “because it’s fun”.
Interesting to look at but the blue line in the middle of the mirror doesn't make sense.

This is the most confusing shot I have ever seen! It appears she is holding a mirror (see her right hand) and yet there appears to be another mirror on the floor that is in perfect harmony with what she is holding. Is that the photoshop work? Please help us out here as I see this as Houdini stuff!

I don't think so. But if it were my shot I would take it out in any case.

It’s not your shot and I did address the line in an earlier reply to another commenter. Go back a few replies and you will see my retort.
