Thought I would share another shot from a recent visit to Bolsa Chica Wetlands near Huntingon Beach CA. I am not very very familiar with places to shoot birds in S. California but I know if I go to Bolsa Chica there will always be some opportunities. GBHs are typically pretty cooperative so we see a lot of photos of them, so, at least for me, I try for something a bit out of the ordinary. This one is a little different, and I like the position of his(her) head and that you can actually see him working on his feathers. Also, I like the feather detail on the neck. Anyway, something more to share and always appreciate what you bird fans here at the Hog think of it. Thanks for looking.
