My first post:

I have a ZYKKOR IR950 and I like to know if this is a good filter and how may stops does it have? Any information I appreciate

I tried finally this filter with all the advice I got. The first pics:
iso 2500, 28 mm, 2.8f, 57 sec
Sec pics:
Iso1600, 28 mm, 2.8f, 30 sec
In LR I adjusted highlights, shadows, whites and blacks. Sure convert to b&w

From long exposure if on daylight your camera may have IR cut off filter built in
I had that problem with Fuji S3 and IR filter. Had to use live view to frame, extremely long exposures
Had camera “ converted” ie change glass in front of mirror for IR filter now able to use short exposure, hand held
