these yellow pretties that are flitting all around show up in fall
and are called unclouded, or clouded, sulphurs...they love red flowers and
i often see them on my red zennias.
host plants are partridge pea, bahama cassia, wild senna, and other native species.

it is most common in the eastern us and southern portions of the western us, but has been spotted as far north as canada.
