The park has been especially busy these days, so I arrived a little after 6 a.m., but was not alone. I probably missed the most intense colors by about 4 or 5 days, as they were somewhat muted today, compared to last week. It was 32F according to the thermometer on the car, but there was heavy frost on all the low-lying plants. BY 10:30 the place was crawling with cars, buses and hikers, so I left. Didn't get in one of the main hikes that I had planned on, but it is long and quite difficult, so will have to attempt it at a future date.

Fantastic set!!!
When I do the public place thing I try to go on week days, I did go the one of the many springs in my area last Saturday morning arrived at 6:00 am still dark took a short nap, 6:30 out of the car and headed to the spring only a little over 100yds from the car, found the spring to be bigger than I remembered, Back to the cat for the 14-24 lens,
went back took my photos and was back on the road 7:45 for more adventures, Checked out Akers Ferry , waste of time, But I saw a sign for Devils Well , the road looked like a driveway, 1.5 mile drive once on that road there was no turning around!! Glad I didn't, got some nice images. And a bit of info. about Missouri, Posted 10.2.2022

Thank you very much, for your kind comments, Manglesphoto! I didn't think that it would be that occupied on a Tuesday. On weekends it gets so busy that they close the park off to any more visitors.
That sounds like quite the Saturday morning for you, but at least it paid off.
