One of my goals at the Pikes Peak Airshow was to work on shooting slow shutter speeds to get prop blur. It resulted in many of the images not being usable because of blurring of of the image. For the ones that did work I was very pleased with, the others oh well!
The plane is a P-51D Mustang that is well known along the Front Range of Colorado for airshow appearances. It's painted for the Colorado Air National Guard that was based at what is now Buckley Space Force Base.

Beautiful bird and when you fly it you just put it on like a velvet glove. Oops there I go again back into the past. Great image by thr way.
