But I am not a big fan of the color ( it don't look anything like a 1938-39 color) and even more so the tires and wheels defiantly not the proper equipment.

Definitely a replica but Hemmings shows a couple of originals for sale in the over $300K range. Dave Garroway, who emceed the Today Show in the 1950s, had a white SS100 that piqued my interest in Jags - to date, I’ve owned 8 with an XK8 sitting in my garage.
