I went for a hike today, for the first time, in the above mentioned Park, located about and hour and a half SE of Quebec City. I read that the colors were almost at their peak. Had some difficulty in actually finding the place as the highway signage was not great. Hiked a couple of trails which were rough in a few spots, but manageable. Here are a few photos taken along one of the trails that hugged a small river called the Cedar River.

Many thanks, Cotondog! Different terrain than the one I am used to north of the city, but still attractive.

Thank you NMGal. Yes, I was following some directions that I got online, but if I had looked more carefully at the map that the tourism branch sent me, I could have saved myself time and a bit of a headache, as the directions were clearly indicated on there. Actually, after I had finished my first trail, I was somewhat disappointed and almost headed home. It was not very well marked, quite rough and with a lot of elevation changes, rocks and roots. Fortunately, the second trail, although quite long, got me to this set of falls.
