On a recent Alaskan cruise, I was sitting in a restaurant on the ship and noticed this funny light to my right, outside the window. It's not a great picture photographically, but I've just never seen a rainbow in the water!
Shot this with my iPhone 12 Pro Max. I eventually figured out that the rainbow was created by the sunlight somehow reflecting off the top of the cruise ship.

Yes, only smartphones can take rainbow pictures in the water. DSLR’s and mirrorless cameras can’t do that.

Thanks. I mentioned it to some people in the restaurant and they all went rushing to the starboard side of the ship to see it. It lasted for about three minutes.
