I photographed this barn in last Saturday’s 2022 Indiana Barn Foundation Tour in Davies County, southwestern Indiana. It along with four other barns in the county of historical note (primarily their longevity) were showcased. Its construction style is what’s considered a standard English barn.

This one is in need of quite a bit of work, and I understand that the owner has applied to the Barn Foundation for a grant to help offset the significant cost. I hope that happens because I always hate to see these old fellows go.

The downloads are sharper.

I saw a lot of great old barns going to the devil, 2008 while on a job for three months from Chicago west to Rockford and then southern Wisconsin

Thanks, Frank. I can believe it; it’s happening around here, too.
