While photographing wild birds on my bird feeder in my back yard, I noticed an older white throated sparrow had quit eating and was looking intently away from the feeder at something that had his undivided attention. At first, I thought it might be a predator, but when I glanced to the opposite side of my yard, I observed a young and pretty female sparrow putting on a show for him. That was definitely what he was gawking at. Please forgive me for surmising what the older bird was thinking. My fellow senior citizen photographers' comments are welcome as well as everyone else's.
